Mr. Ali Bin Ebrahim Abdul-Aal ( Group Chairman)       _                          

Mr. Ali Bin Ebrahim Abdul-Aal is one of the distinguished member of our society and an honored dignitary who has contributed very effectively in the growth, prosperity and the evolution of Bahrain’s economy since the early 1950’s.

He has made a distinctive mark in the political history of Bahrain since the 1950s. He was chosen a member of the first Constitution of Bahrain in the early 1970s and he was then elected a member of the first national council representing the suburbs of the Capital City of Manama and its surrounding villages.

In addition to his active participation in social, cultural and sports activities he also participated and supported morally and was materially generous towards clubs, charitable funds, associations and others. He did boundless good in building of mosque and provided material assistance to the poor and needy.

In the year 2000, his majesty the King of Bahrain honored Mr. Abdul-Aal with the award of Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa Decoration of the Second Order in recognition and gratitude for his valuable service rendered to the nation and its citizens.

In the year 2006, his majesty the King of Bahrain honored Mr. Abdul-Aal with the award of The Bahrain Decoration of the First Order in recognition and gratitude for his valuable service rendered to the nation and its citizens.  

Mr. Abdul-Aal is the Founder and Chairman of:

   • Ali Bin Ebrahim Abdul-Aal Group of Companies
   • Ali Bin Ebrahim Abdul-Aal General Trading W.L.L.
   • United Gulf Asphalt and Construction Company W.L.L.
   • Nader Gas W.L.L

In addition to controlling the “Abdul-Aal Group Holdings”, Mr. Abdul-Aal was one of the founders and member of the First Board of Directors of:
   • Ahli United Bank.
   • Esterad Investment Co. B.S.C.
   • Bahrain Cinema Co. B.S.C.
   • Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
   • Bahrain Equestrian Club.
   • Bahrain Bayan School.
   • Bahrain Ship Repairing & Engineering Co. (BASREC).
   • The New Indian School.

On the 55th Anniversary of Abdul-Aal Group Holdings (2006), Mr. Abdul-Aal had announced the establishment of:
   • Ali Bin Ebrahim Abdul-Aal School – Abdul-Aal Schools.
   • Ali Bin Ebrahim Abdul-Aal Charity Foundation – Abdul-Aal Foundation.
